Q. Does it work with terminal server?
A. It does work if you are using fat clients on a windows machine. It will not work with thin clients ie wyse etc. If you have TS you should get your IT person to download the software first and make sure it works in your configuration. If you can't get it working there is a full refund on return of the buttons. The picture below should help.

Q. When I use windows 7 the program doesn't close properly.!
A. Yes, there is a new version for win 7 in the download section. This should fix the problem.

Q. Does it show which computer has triggered the alarm?
A. Yes, ie 'Alarm from Dr Bob's Room'

Q. Does it work with my screen saver.
A. If the screen saver is not password protected it will run. If you log out from your computer or have a password protected screen saver running, then the button will not work until you are logged in.This is not usually a problem if you are logged in when you are infront of the computer.

Q. How long is the USB cable?
A. 120cm. You can get USB extension cables from Dick Smith etc.

Q. How many buttons should I get?
A. We recommend 1 for each consultation room. It is also worth considering 1 in any treatment area and 1 at reception.

Q. Do I need a button on every computer?
A. No, just the computers you wish to trigger an alarm from. You can install the software on as many computers in your practice as you like if you have purchased at least 1 button.

Q. What computers should I load the software on?
A. Every computer that usually has someone in front of it. We don't recommend you load it on the server as usually that computer is in a corner, and you should load as little software on your server as you can.

Q. What is the time to receive the EAS buttons in the mail?
A. We post items every 2-3 days, they are sent via registered mail, usually arriving within a week from the time of the order. 

Q. Does the alarm message come up in front of other programs?
A. Yes, and if you have speakers they will beep three times.
